About Rob Frazer
Rob Frazer is a partner in Goranson Bain Ausley’s Austin office and Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization — a distinction held by fewer than three percent of Texas attorneys. With more than 17 years of legal experience and a trial background that pre-dates his exclusive focus on family law, Rob represents high-asset, educated, and savvy individuals who want to protect what they have built over a lifetime and avoid the destruction of business or personal assets in divorce. His clients include professionals, business owners, C-suite executives, and their spouses.
Rob’s practice centers on cases that demand financial sophistication and trial readiness: high-net-worth divorce, divorce for business owners, business valuation disputes, complex property characterization, and contested custody matters. He works to explain the range of potential outcomes so clients can understand their options and choose the best course of action, leveraging his extensive courtroom and litigation experience when negotiation cannot get the case where it needs to go.
Rob uses a structured approach to decision-making and the overall process — one designed to put clients’ minds at ease and help them make rational, economically sound, well-informed decisions. He encourages clients to look at the big picture and avoid being distracted by frivolous matters. His goal is to help clients reach a productive outcome for their future so they can take care of what is most important — treating everyone involved, including opposing counsel and parties, with dignity and respect.
