A partner of the firm since 2000, Eric Robertson provides compassionate assistance, creative solutions, and honest advice to his clients. Eric’s areas of expertise include divorces involving the valuation and division of complicated assets, drug and alcohol addiction, and mental health issues. His clients include business owners, professionals, and their spouses. He is known for his financial acumen, and for helping individuals in long-term marriages successfully transition to the next chapter of their lives.
Eric has extensive experience in litigation, and is trained as a collaborative family law practitioner and mediator. He helps clients understand their options, including when to go to trial and when other alternatives are better suited to the outcomes they desire. He encourages his clients to make informed decisions based on facts, rather than emotions.
Recognized by his peers in the legal profession, Eric was named the Austin Family Law Lawyer of the Year in 2018 by The Best Lawyers in America- Woodward White, Inc. In 2016, Eric was president of the prestigious Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is a frequent speaker at family law courses and seminars, and the author of numerous articles on family law issues.
