20 GBA Attorneys Recognized by Best Lawyers® for Collaborative Law: Family Law — Most of Any U.S. Firm

Two GBA attorneys also earn 2027 Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” honors, reflecting the depth of experience clients can draw on when choosing a collaborative path to divorce.
Goranson Bain Ausley (GBA) announced that 20 attorneys have been recognized in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for Collaborative Law: Family Law — more than any other law firm in the United States.
Two GBA attorneys also earned 2027 Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” honors in Collaborative Law: Aimee Pingenot Key was named the Dallas/Fort Worth “Lawyer of the Year” for Collaborative Law: Family Law, and Kristen A. Algert was named the Austin “Lawyer of the Year” for Collaborative Law: Family Law for the sixth time.
GBA’s Collaborative Divorce Experience
The recognition reflects a depth of Collaborative Divorce experience GBA has built over more than two decades. Twenty-seven GBA attorneys are trained in Collaborative Law, and GBA’s founders were among the early architects who helped bring Collaborative Law to Texas. Four GBA attorneys have earned credentials from Collaborative Divorce Texas: Kristen Algert, Esther Donald and Curtis Harrison are Master Credentialed Collaborative Professionals, and Aimee Pingenot Key is a Credentialed Collaborative Professional.
