About Chandler Rice Winslow

Chandler Rice Winslow is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She represents working parents, physicians, professionals, and their spouses throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, from Goranson Bain Ausley’s Dallas office. Many of her clients are balancing demanding careers, raising children, and caring for aging parents while navigating divorce or a contested custody matter. They want a lawyer they can trust to protect what matters most. 

Much of Chandler’s practice focuses on the financial side of family law. Her background in business and real estate law helps clients navigate complex property division, including closely held businesses, separate and community property, and business valuations. She also advises clients on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and post-divorce modifications. Throughout her career, Chandler has also developed significant experience in matters involving children. She has served as both a guardian ad litem and an attorney ad litem, representing families in high-conflict custody disputes, Child Protective Services matters, grandparents’ rights, termination of parental rights, and adoption. When appropriate, she works alongside financial experts, mental health professionals, and child specialists to help clients make informed decisions and present the strongest possible case.

Chandler is known for her honest, solution-oriented counsel. She tells clients candidly when a court is unlikely to grant the outcome they hope for and helps them focus on the solutions that will have the greatest long-term impact. Trained in Collaborative Divorce, she recommends that process when it serves her clients’ goals, carefully weighing the costs and benefits of litigation against the opportunities for negotiated resolution. She believes that court should be reserved for the issues that truly require a judge’s decision. When litigation is necessary, she brings years of trial experience and steady advocacy to protect her clients’ interests.

Chandler also contributes to the professional education of her peers. She presented “Enforcement of Court Orders” at the Family Law Essentials Seminar (May 2024), co-authored “The Psychology of Cross-Examination” for the Advanced Family Law Conference (August 2022), and authored and presented “Property Agreements: Why are They Important and How Can They Protect Your Clients?” (2019).

Beyond the Practice

Chandler is an active member of the Dallas community, involved in school, church, and neighborhood organizations. She serves on the parents’ association and alumnae board of The Hockaday School, her alma mater, where her two children also attend. She is a member of the Junior Group of the Dallas Garden Club, participates in the Women’s Auxiliary of the Salvation Army, and is active in the parent ministry at Saint Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal Church.

Outside of her professional commitments, Chandler enjoys playing tennis, flower arranging, and doing arts and crafts with her children.
