Empowering Clients to Make Informed Decisions with Confidence
With over two decades of paralegal experience, Meredith takes a detailed and empathetic approach. She engages with clients from the onset of a case, discussing and clarifying each step of the process so they feel empowered to make informed decisions with confidence.
Meredith handles every family law case with sensitivity, particularly those involving children. She reflects, “In any case involving a child, I consider the child’s perspective. Are our decisions in the child’s best interest? Will they help the child adapt to new circumstances or hinder their development?”
Meredith holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Colorado State University, with certificates as a paralegal and family law specialist from Washington Technical Institute. She served as an adjunct professor at the University of Alaska’s paralegal studies department for four years and has led numerous Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions in Fairbanks, Alaska and Rapid City, South Dakota. Meredith’s Top Tip for Family Law Clients
“I understand what an emotionally draining and mentally tiring process this is. You have children who are just as emotionally vulnerable as you are, and it’s important to remember that you love them more than you despise your ex. Let that be your guide in the decisions you make on their behalf.”
