Goranson Bain Ausley Welcomes Emily Ogden: Strengthening Our Austin Team of Family Law Attorneys

Goranson Bain Ausley is pleased to announce the introduction of Emily Ogden as the newest addition to our team of skilled family law attorneys in GBA’s Austin office.

We recognized Emily Ogden’s alignment with GBA’s values when she joined us as a law clerk in 2022. Her unwavering commitment to client-centered service, strong communication skills, empathy, and tenacious advocacy, both within and outside the courtroom, reinforce GBA’s ability to serve Austin families.

Understanding that divorce and family law matters are not mere transactions, Emily brings a profound understanding that they represent significant life transitions. Her counsel provides practical and sound guidance, helping clients navigate this challenging phase toward a hopeful future.

Emily initiated her legal career at Goranson Bain Ausley as a law clerk during law school. Before attending law school, Emily worked as a paralegal in family law, which provided her with a solid foundation in the intricacies of family law practice. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Emily further enriched her understanding of family law issues. Her work in legal clinics included representing survivors of domestic violence in family law matters and advocating for children in CPS cases as attorney ad litem.

Originally from San Antonio, Emily moved to Austin to become a “double longhorn,” attending UT for both her undergraduate and law degrees. She enjoys engaging in yoga and outdoor activities, savoring the rich Tex-Mex flavors with family and friends, reading, and embarking on travel adventures.
