Helping Clients Navigate Family Law Matters With Clarity and Confidence
I work with individuals navigating divorce, custody, support, property division, adoption, and family formation matters by providing a clear plan—one that begins with understanding their goals and values and ends with durable, practical solutions that allow them to move forward with confidence.
My own experience as a parent, going through separation and divorce while in law school shaped my commitment to this work. I understand how overwhelming family transitions can feel, and I believe clients deserve more than just a legal process. They need clarity, education, and options that protect their future. That’s why I work to resolve matters constructively through negotiation, Collaborative Divorce or mediation whenever possible—while being fully prepared to litigate when necessary. My goal is always to mitigate unnecessary conflict, protect children, and give clients tools they can use long after the case ends.
My clients include professionals, parents, military service members and spouses, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others who want efficient solutions and an approach that balances firmness with compassion. Whether drafting complex orders, guiding second-parent adoptions, or navigating military retirement benefits, I am committed to protecting what matters most.
Here’s how:
- Provide clear explanations and guidance so clients can make informed decisions.
- Focus on children’s needs and long-term stability.
- Manage complex issues such as military divorces, QDROs/DROs, and multi-county jurisdictional matters.
- Secure lasting legal protections for LGBTQ+ clients through adoptions and tailored orders.
- Stay responsive and practical while preparing thoroughly for court when needed.
