Strategic Advocacy for Complex Custody and Family Law Matters
I help clients navigate divorce, custody, property division, enforcement actions, and child support matters with a clear and strategic approach. Whether in mediation or the courtroom, my focus is always on protecting what matters most and guiding families toward practical, lasting solutions.
Clients value my honesty, preparation, and ability to think on my feet—qualities that bring hope, confidence, and reduced stress in even the most difficult situations. Having gone through divorce and co-parenting myself, I understand the challenges families face and provide both legal advocacy and real-life perspective.
I serve clients across Tarrant, Parker, Johnson, and Hood counties who want a trusted advocate to protect their rights and help them make decisions that support both their children and their future.
Here’s how:
- Empower clients by explaining the law in plain terms and setting realistic expectations from the start
- Advocate strongly in custody and divorce cases, ensuring children’s best interests and clients’ rights are protected
- Balance strategy by pursuing creative, client-focused settlements in mediation while being fully prepared to litigate when necessary
- Offer empathy and honesty, grounded in both professional experience and personal insight as a parent and co-parent
Experience and Professional Credentials
An experienced advocate, Brooke has practiced family law for more than 15 years, representing clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, property division, child custody, enforcement, and support cases. Licensed in Texas since 2005, she began her career in private practice and later built her reputation as a trusted advocate at a Fort Worth family law firm before joining Goranson Bain Ausley.
Brooke has extensive trial and courtroom experience, regularly handling contested temporary orders hearings, custody modifications, enforcement matters, and litigation involving allegations of abuse and/or substance use. She has achieved successful results for clients, including restoring primary conservatorship to a client after adverse temporary orders in a highly contested SAPCR case.
Her background includes over a decade of CPS work, where she represented parents in trials and appeals involving termination of parental rights. Through this work, she gained valuable courtroom experience, allowing her to provide clients with strong protection and advocacy in high-stakes litigation.
In addition to her courtroom advocacy, Brooke is skilled in negotiation and creative problem-solving. She creates parenting plans and settlement agreements that prioritize children’s best interests and help families reach durable, practical resolutions. Clients value her ability to balance realistic expectations with tailored strategies that address both immediate needs and long-term outcomes.
Interests
Outside the office, Brooke is a devoted mother to two children—a son who is active in football and a daughter who is passionate about ballet. Much of her free time is spent supporting their activities and being “on the go” with practices, games, and performances. She also enjoys traveling whenever she can, appreciating the chance to recharge and experience new places.
