Client Reviews

Ally Caskey is impressive, wise, meticulous, and expedient. Ally is the type of attorney who truly embodies service to her clients. She was engaging as well, inquiring about my motivations and offering options that I had not considered. The best compliment that I can give Ally is that with her, I knew I was being heard and helped. I am honored that I had someone so amazing representing me. – Daeron L.
If you find yourself in a difficult divorce, the single most important decision you will make is who stands beside you. For me, that was the Legal A Team. No one from the firm asked me to write this. I’m writing it because when you’re facing something like this, the right team matters more than you can imagine. When my divorce started, I assumed it would be like most people imagine; paperwork, mediation, signatures, and moving on. Instead, I learned I had landed in the small percentage of divorces that don’t settle at mediation. That’s when normal life stopped being normal. It became painful. Everyday things suddenly became complicated; finances, schedules, protecting my children, and trying to keep stability while everything around us felt uncertain. That’s when I realized my attorneys weren’t just attorneys. They were my Legal A Team. And they deserve to be named: Kathryn Murphy, Megan Decadi, Ally Caskey, and the incredible paralegal Cindy Watts. Strategic. Prepared. Calm under pressure. Exactly who you want when things get complicated. Behind the scenes they were constantly working to keep things productive; encouraging communication when possible, preventing unnecessary escalation, and staying focused on resolution even when the situation itself was anything but calm. […] They didn’t just represent me. They stood with me. When parts of my life felt like they were being pulled apart, they helped me hold on to what mattered most. By the end of this process something became very clear to me. There are lawyers who process paperwork. There are lawyers who argue cases. And then there are the RARE ones who carry people through one of the hardest chapters of their lives with strategy, steadiness, and INTEGRITY. That was the Legal A Team. – Jeannine T.
This firm specializes in family law. I was served with a lawsuit just days before a hearing and quickly had to scramble a response and defense. Ally Caskey and Kathryn Murphy were able to quickly review the complaint and get the hearing rescheduled while they could further review the merits. Jeff Domen then took over as lead counsel and was able to thoughtfully mount a strategy to get the bogus lawsuit dismissed. With Jeff’s aggressive actions he was able to move opposing counsel to dismiss the lawsuit voluntarily. I’d say that’s a great result! Kudos also to Meredith Lanis and Cindy Watts, who are very responsive and thorough as well. I’m so thankful and appreciative that I get to call everyone at Goranson “my team!” – James

Ally’s commitment to family law began before she was licensed. While attending SMU Dedman School of Law, she served as an attorney ad litem for children in the foster care system through the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic, an experience that showed her the importance of steady, thoughtful advocacy for families facing difficult circumstances. She later served as a judicial intern for Justice Debra Lehrmann of the Supreme Court of Texas.

A summa cum laude journalism graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Ally brings a communicator’s instinct for clarity to her practice, helping clients understand their options and the decisions ahead.
