Alina understands firsthand the emotional toll that a family law case has on those involved. This perspective drives her commitment to delivering empathetic, yet results-focused representation, while still being mindful of the vast impact litigation can have on a family and, in particular, children.
Alina believes one of the most important parts of her practice is seeing the big picture. While it is a given that legal knowledge and experience are critical to implementing a focused strategy to secure the right outcome, the real process starts with carefully listening to the client and identifying their particularized needs and goals. Only then can the best possible outcome for the client be achieved. She represents clients in complex family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, and property division.
Earlier in her career, Alina spent over a decade in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting and securing convictions at trial for felony cases including assault, family violence, and murder. Alina was assigned to the specialized crime division for more than three years, prosecuting white collar cases, from which she gained a unique insight into financial crimes involving the hiding of assets, destruction of records, electronic data, etc.
Alina spent her childhood years growing up in Romania, until she moved with her family escaping communism to Los Angeles, California. A graduate of Beverly Hills High School, she is licensed to practice law in California and Texas.
