Cassidy Pearson represents parents and professionals navigating complex divorce and child custody disputes, particularly when difficult parenting decisions and significant financial interests are at stake. A partner at Goranson Bain Ausley and Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Cassidy has devoted her practice exclusively to family law since 2011.

Her clients include business owners, physicians, pilots, and their spouses who need experienced guidance through contentious custody matters and complicated property division. Cassidy has particular experience with high-conflict custody disputes, including cases involving mental health concerns, as well as divorces involving businesses, retirement accounts, stock options, and other complex assets.

Beyond the Practice

Outside her practice, Cassidy is an avid animal lover who volunteers with and fosters for the SPCA of Texas and Doodle Rock Rescue.

She comes from a large, modern-day family and enjoys spoiling her nieces and nephews. A University of Texas graduate and former member of the university’s cross-country team, Cassidy remains a loyal Texas Longhorn.
