What’s Better About a Collaborative Divorce?

Esther R. Donald | March 24, 2021

Collaborative Divorce Texas has recognized Goranson Bain Ausley Dallas Partner and Family Lawyer Esther Donald as a Credentialed Collaborative Divorce Professional. Donald was honored at the annual State Bar of Texas Collaborative Law Course on March 5th. The achievement of this designation demonstrates a commitment to the high standards of collaborative practice.

Esther explains what it means to her to be credentialed in Collaborative Divorce and provides insight into the benefits of Collaborative Divorce in Texas. She explains how a Collaborative Divorce allows clients to divorce in a dignified and respectful manner and maintain control of decision-making, expenses, and the timeline of their divorce.

To be recognized as a Credentialed Collaborative Divorce Professional requires a professional to have satisfied rigorous education and training standards, demonstrated substantial case experience, and passed a confidential peer reference process.

“I am honored to become a Credentialed Collaborative Divorce Professional,” said Esther Donald. “The Collaborative Divorce process is a better way to handle most divorces. When divorce is inevitable, this is the process that I recommend to my clients.”  The Collaborative Divorce process gives couples the opportunity to confidentially create their own customized divorce, focusing on protecting their families and preserving their resources and assets through solutions-oriented interest-based negotiation.

Esther is a recognized leader in the collaborative community, having served as the chairperson for the Dallas Bar Association’s Collaborative Law Section and currently serves as the chair for the 15th Annual Collaborative Course in Spring 2022. She has been named a Best Lawyer by Best Lawyers in America, 2017-2021 and selected to the Texas Super Lawyers list, 2016-2021.
