Goranson Bain Ausley is pleased to announce that Dallas partner Lindsey Obenhaus has earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. The certification complements her Board Certification in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, combining advanced legal qualifications with specialized knowledge of the financial complexities of divorce.

For individuals facing divorce, decisions about property division, retirement assets, and settlement terms can have financial consequences that extend well beyond the end of a marriage. The CDFA® designation recognizes knowledge of the financial issues involved in divorce, including tax implications, retirement planning considerations, asset division, and the long-term impact of settlement decisions.

A former Dallas County family violence prosecutor, she brings extensive litigation experience to high-conflict divorce and custody disputes. Her CDFA® certification further enhances the financial perspective she brings to settlement negotiations and litigation, complementing her work with forensic accountants, valuation professionals, and other financial experts.
