Goranson Bain Ausley Welcomes Tom Trahan to GBA’s Plano Office.

Goranson Bain Ausley proudly announces the addition of Tom Trahan, an associate in our Plano Office. Tom joins a roster of 48 lawyers who offer deep experience and broad capabilities in managing the full range of family law matters.

With nine years of family law experience as a paralegal at Goranson Bain Ausley, Tom has excelled in guiding clients through the challenging transitions of divorce and other family law issues, enabling them to protect what is important and to move forward with confidence. Tom’s expertise extends throughout the entire legal process—from initial intake to negotiating settlements or securing resolutions at trial. He also specializes in drafting persuasive legal briefs emphasizing the legal and human impacts of court decisions.

Tom has been a valuable member of our team since he joined GBA as a paralegal in 2015. His client-centered approach, strong advocacy skills, and emphasis on helping clients achieve constructive, intelligent, and efficient outcomes align perfectly with GBA.

Beyond his legal practice, Tom has contributed to the legal community by teaching hundreds of first-year law students the technical skills necessary for legal writing. Tom thoroughly enjoys spending time with his four kids and granddaughter. He is a fan of classic films, works on crossword puzzles, and has run more than ten half marathons.
