Arriving to Art with Heart 2014

Since the firm was founded over 20 years ago, the well-being of children has always been a priority. After the firm experienced the joy of learning to express its creative side through art, the decision was made to host an event where the firm could share its creative expression and give back to the community: an art benefit for children. GoransonBain Ausley teamed up with Vickery Meadow Learning Center to create art! VMLC is dedicated to improving English literacy levels among non-English speaking adults and their young children by providing programs in communication and life skills. Under the direction of Beth Maultsby, a group from the firm volunteered with the children of VMLC using different techniques such as shaving cream marbling, suminagashi for kids (Japanese paper marbling technique), rubber cement and water colors, bouncy ball sensor bag paintings, and alcohol ink-blowing.
