Relationship-Driven Support Through Every Step of Your Case
With over two decades of experience exclusively as a family law paralegal, Jaime Dickerson brings deep expertise and a genuine commitment to client care. Working alongside attorney Kathryn Murphy, Jaime assists clients navigating complex family law matters including divorce and child custody. Her responsibilities include drafting petitions, custody agreements, and discovery requests and responses; corresponding with clients, courts, and opposing counsel; managing deadlines; and supporting attorneys during hearings, trials, and mediation.
Jaime holds an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Tyler Junior College and became a Board Certified Paralegal by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2018, a recognition fewer than 400 paralegals hold in the state of Texas.
At the heart of Jaime’s practice is a relationship-oriented, client-first philosophy. She notes, “My primary goal is to deliver excellent service from the intake process to the finalization of the documents. I want to make sure our clients feel heard and understood.”
Outside of work, Jaime enjoys reading, photography, volunteering at animal shelters, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
Jaime’s Top Tip for Family Law Clients
“You will get through this difficult time in your life, and you don’t have to do it alone. Let us focus on the complexities of the case while you begin prioritizing your plans for the future. Together we can help you close one chapter, while protecting the next.”
