Vanessa’s paralegal career began more than a decade ago, supporting San Antonio family law attorney Kristal Thomson. Since 2011, the pair has exclusively specialized in family law, gaining extensive experience in high-net-worth divorces, child custody disputes, paternity and adoption, premarital and postmarital agreements, as well as modifications and enforcements.
Vanessa’s approach combines organizational precision, legal knowledge, and client-centered care, seamlessly aligning with Goranson Bain Ausley’s core values. She manages case files, drafts pleadings, coordinates court filings, and supports attorneys through all phases of litigation. At the same time, she prioritizes effective communication, empathy, and guidance to clients navigating complex and often emotionally challenging situations.

Outside the office, Vanessa loves spending quality time with her family. She has a passion for travel and enjoys planning her next vacation to create lasting memories with her loved ones. When she’s not exploring new places, she can often be found gardening and enjoying the outdoors.
