Goranson Bain Ausley Family Law Attorney Cindy Tisdale Takes the Helm as President of the State Bar of Texas

A catalyst for collegiality and collaboration, Cindy Tisdale, will lead the State Bar of Texas as President for a one-year term. The Goranson Bain Ausley family law attorney was elected to drive strategic initiatives for the 112,000-member legal community, one of the largest state bars in the United States.

Building on the State Bar of Texas’s mission to support the administration of the legal system, foster high ethical standards for lawyers, and enable its members to serve their clients and the public better, Tisdale will spearhead purpose-driven approaches, focusing on the following initiatives:

With a distinguished career that spans more than 25 years, Tisdale is one of the few family lawyers who is a member of the highly recognized American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. 

She is also a fellow of the prestigious International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Tisdale is the author of numerous articles and a frequent presenter at legal continuing education seminars. 

A highly experienced, credentialed, and client-centered attorney, Tisdale joined Goranson Bain Ausley in 2023, increasing the family law firm’s presence in Midland, Fort Worth, and Granbury.

She earned a Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University.
